i have an hp 20 gb ipod (kinda old i noe) and it basically wont turn on and acting really wierd. for example when i try to turn it on, it shows me a picture of an ipod with a sad face....and it doesnt turn on!:confused:

what do u suggest i do?
 
ughhhhhhhhh....just found out that warranty (1 year) ran out about a month and a half ago.

they have an online facility where you just punch in the serial number and they will send out the UPS package for you to return the ipod in... its all automated.... *cough*

really should go to the doctors with this cold ;)
 
wait but wouldnt the serial number tell them if my warranty already ran out?

warrenty is efective from date of sale, serial number is effective date of manufacture. They never reconcile the 2, just try the number of apple site, and tell them date of purchase was dec 05. You can only but try

anyway I think i've said enough :) *cough*
 
crap! now its telling me that i dont have the right serial number(im on the apple support site)....should i go to the HP website and try doing this there?
