Broken Power Adapter on Laptop

Hi,

My brother dropped his laptop this morning, whilst it was plugged in with the power cord attached and its snapped the connector on the laptop for the power cable to plug in to.

Can these be replaced? If so where can I get one - its for an acer aspire 6920

Any computer repair place should be able to fix it. Don't take it to bestbuy/geeksquad. Take it to a local repair place if you have one as they will be cheaper.

I am quite good with this kind of stuff etc, but just don't know where to buy these kind of parts? have fitted new screens / processors etc. But just don't know where to buy this kind of part or what its called?

Go to the Laptop manufacturers website & locate their nearest parts/repairer dealer and order the part through them..... then you will be ok to repair it your self.
