OK, I just got off the phone with my brother. He's been wanting to upgrade his computer some, so he was poking around a bit inside to check how easy it would be. Apparently he JUST took out the RAM(single stick, PC2700), then put it back in to see how easy it was. However, since he did that the computer won't do anything. No fans or anything. The only thing that happens is a light on the PSU blinks constantly. I told him to try the other slot and without the RAM completely, but it's made no difference. He's not willing to do much else over the phone, but plans to be in Friday or Saturday.
What bothers me is I know that PSU blinking means something. Again, it's not sparatic... I searched around a bit but really couldn't find the meaning of it. Has anyone had a similar problem or other suggestions to try. Once I can get my hands on it I'll probably remove the drives and anything else optional(or just make sure he didn't knock anything loose).
--edit--
One other test, we disconnected the ATX plug from the mobo and the light was SOLID. We let the PSU discharge then reconnected the plug and it began to blink again... Sounds like a mobo problem :-/
