Hey guys I built myself a brand new PC a few days a go but it has given me nothing but grief I have had atleast 1 BOSD everyday randomly since I installed the OS and it is driving me up the wall.

Here is my systems specs

OS: Vista 32 Bit (yes I know haven't had the money to upgrade in the OS)
Mobo: Gigabyte 970a-d3
CPU: AMD FX-4170 Quad core 4.2 GHz
RAM: 8GB Geil 1333 MHz
HDD: 500GB Samsung HD501LJ & 500GB ST500DM002-1BD142
GPU: NVIDA GeForce GTS 250

let me know if there is anything else you need from me.
I have also attached a BlueScreenView file and minidump file in one zip folder for anyone who is willing to help me

You have a 32-bit OS with 8GB of RAM? The first thing I'd try is removing half of your RAM and see if that makes a difference.

problem is although I may not have a BSOD for a while I wont know for sure if that will fix it but I will give it a shot though it certainly makes sense and yeah I will be upgrading to 7 64 bit very soon (hopefully)

May also be worth running Memtest86 to test your RAM for errors and run Seatools to test your hard drive for errors. Usually BOSDs are hardware or driver related.

yeah I tried Memtest and it froze on me. It is brand new RAM and I was very careful putting it in so I dont see why there would be any errors. I also ran chkdsk /f /r and it said my c:\ was fine didn't check the other one but I don't see how that can be dodgy either I will give it a go though.

Memtest froze on you? Usually indicates there is some sort of issue with your RAM. Even if it's new it can still be bad. Try reseating all your sticks, run the test again, if you get issues, start removing sticks.

Ok I have done everything that you have told me to now only time will tell. I will let you know how it goes. To my surprise when I went to take out one the RAM sticks I noticed one wasn't quite in right. I mean it was in enough to be recognized sure enough but it wasn't in enough that one of the clips didn't close in on it correctly anyway I took out one stick and reseated the other in there now so we shall see what happens. Thanks for the help btw it completely slipped my mind about the limitations a 32 bit OS has. But I as I stated earlier I will be getting 7 64 bit soon but in the mean time my college can lend me a win7 disk and I can activate it when I can afford it (I believe I still have 30 days to do so at this rate I may need all 30 of em)

Yeah I tired all of that. Whilst I am fairly sure what I have just tried probs has nothing to do with it I just actually installed a NIC that my college has let me borrow I will see if that makes 1 lick of difference if not I may just go my POS and ask for any ideas what could be causing the issue (they also do repair work) else I will just ask for new stuff they cant refuse me if I have a receipt and I am fairly sure I do.
