bsod or memory error? :S

Hey everyone been awhile since i used the forum for help again >.<

Well recently i did a clean format of my computer, Reinstalled Windows 7 and did not update it due to being capped on my internet plan.

But i did install afew app's itunes, avg, deamon tools lite, bit torrent. Had afew games on: Company of Heroes + expansions, red faction and battlefield bad company 2.


Started playing bfbc2 for about 20 mins then i got a bsod, and then it happened another 3 times. My Graphics card driver is up to date. with direct x 11.

also i noticed when my computer boots up it says 1066mhz or something reguarding 10**mhz, im guessing its ram or something

But the ram i currently have is: Desktop ddr3 ram 6gb tri-kit (3x2048 mb) pc12800 1600mhz patriot psd36g1600kh 9-9-9-24 (i7 ready)

When i checked in bios the ram was set on 7-7-7-20 for all 3 slots of the ram wondering if that could be a problem? But i managed to run other games decent and computer run without any problems.

So what is the problem? The RAM is running with lower latencies than designed, which is better. What else is wrong?

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

@bigfellla : nice to know that the lower the better. But its when i or any of my family members start playing battlefield bad company 2, it bsod's in about 20 mins nothing else thankfully

@Perkomate 1 out of the 3 ram settings were on auto while others were preset im guessing, since it was my first time touching the bios to make the ram settings all equal.

I'll try run battlefield bad company 2 and see if anything new pops up now.

More than likely a bad/outdated driver. One you get your cap off, make sure all drivers are updated.

ok i just uninstalled my graphics reinstalled, made a restore point, then i went to update my graphics card, during the installation it blue screened on me ( kind of scared me )

update Windows completely because it may be that it's an issue with the OS supporting the drivers or something? Consider my $0.02 deposited

Like said before, please fully update your windows installation by going to windows update, as there is an update that supposedly fixes this issue.
