BSOD problem

This has probably been solved a hundred times but it usually involves a specific situation. My dad's laptop randomly goes to the Blue Screen of Death and it says IRQ NOT LESS OR EQUAL. I can't duplicate this error messsage and it usually has a different stop error each time. It will do it no matter how intensive or not intensive what I'm doing is. I can open up Microsoft Word and it will do it and somtimes I can play an entire video game and it won't do it. I thought it was a RAM problem but it still did it when I replaced the old RAM wiht new RAM. Would reinstalling XP fix it? I don't really wanna do it but I will if I have to.

I also suggest running memtest to ensure that the RAM isn't the problem. Apart from that it may be a really strange hardware problem or somehow your windows install is messed up. Run a chkdsk to make sure everything is in order with windows if you can.
