BSOD when trying to do offline defrag of system files with PerfectDisk 8

Running XP Pro SP3. Trying to do an offline defrag of system files with PerfectDisk 8 which I've done in the past without issue but now am either betting a BSOD or a screen saying it can't gain exclusive access to the C:\ drive, might be a driver conflict.

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks

How big is your harddrive and how much free space is left? Let's get an idea of what bluescreen you are getting.

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.
