okay. got a bluescreen. Need to ID why and fix it. Simple enough, and thanks in advance JohnB35.

Okay, and just in case, all the computer was doing when it crashed to the BSOD was running FAH and on the net on the forum here.

again, thanks for helping when you do.
 
could it be caused by overheating? I doubt it is the drivers as it worked doing exactly what it was doing minus the web for a week strait here at the house. I set the clock rate down to 250 core and 325 memory via Afterburner and it is hovering at 79*. :(
 
Could be. Windows 7 I assume? You could try updating direct X is there is one available. Any new hardware or software installed recently?
 
Might be a DirectX issue. Try running the latest installer for DirectX. I'd also update your video driver.
 
Unless there has been a Nvidia update in the last 8 days, it is the most current driver.
Windows 7 64 bit ultimate
How do I update DX? And its a DX10 card, so will it only run DX10 update or am I going to have to download DX11?
 
Just download the DX Update tool. It'll download the latest updates.

As far as the video driver, if it BSoD's again, I'd revert back to a previous driver.
 
I can't revert, got to uninstall, driver sweep and download a old version. This version is the first one on this install.

And I will download the DX tool in a bit.

I meant revert as in driver sweep and downgrade to an earlier version ;)
 
okay. So far it is running okay. If I return it to stock speeds it BSODs within 5 minutes. Updated DX fully too. Did not help.
 
got some more. 2 within 20 minutes actually. Which makes me mad, as it will work all day with it sitting on the desk, but move it and it BSODs. @#!$ inserting anger.

temps are reading as 75 on GPU and 68/65 on CPU. Tempted to just delete the Nvidia driver and run on teh windows drivers and see how it goes. Still underclocked to 250/300 to help with temps.
 
One of the 2 new bsod's is still video related. I'm not at home right now so I can't debug the other bsod but can you zip this file and attach it to your next post. Should be able to debug that tomorrow when I get home.

Ok, was finally able to debug that dump. Seems it has to do with the cpu.

Are you using the onboard Graphics off the cpu?
