BTX (balanced technology extended) computers have a very odd design to it. So odd that finding broken parts for it is a hassle. Although it does have good air circulation and keeps your computer nice and cool. But what if your power supply dies? The BTX case/motherboard uses its own special power supply which runs you about $70 (for a reliable one). The only things that doesn't have to be special is the CPU, GPU, and the RAM. So if your looking into building your own rig look no further the BTX design is not for you.
