Budget Build ($600-$800)

Hey guys. So anyways, I'm selling a lot of my stuff in order to get money to build my self a computer! This will be my first time building, and I'm hoping that you guys can help me out! I've been researching for so long, but always backing down when it came to ordering the parts, etc.

So, anyways, Could you guys post builds of what you think would be the BEST possible way to spend my money. Also, I do not have a monitor, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be able to get a 20 inch LG for $60 from a friend.

I'll also try to post my own builds as I look at yours.

1. What are you going to use the computer for? Video editing, gaming, normal use, etc.
2. Are you going to reuse any parts? For example, keyboard, mice, speakers, hard drive, etc.

1) I'll be using it for basically everything you stated above. Video editing, Gaming, internet browsing, normal use, etc, etc. I have a macbookPro for general use, but obviously I can't game or really do much with it. A good desktop would be great.
2) I don't believe I will be re-using any parts. I may have some speakers and a mouse, but that's about it.
 
Then go for what I give you. Its affordable and in good performance

Thanks for the suggestions. I like a lot of it, but I was thinking a bit better of a graphics card. Maybe the HD5830, and then make the motherboard a bit less in price. Also, I really don't know that much about processors, but how are AMD Phemon II series? What do they compare too?
 
I would suggest waiting until then, not only will we know an actual budget but some of the items linked may not be the same price in a couple of weeks.
The folks here are pretty quick about whipping up a computer list anyway.
