Budget build?

So here what i have planned to cram into my computer:
Mobo: Asus M3A78-EMH HDMI
CPU: AMD x2 5200+
Ram: Rendition 1gb PC5300(667 mhz) (this is temp. i'll buy another 2gb stick later on once i get money)
and i need to get a 400W PSU. No gpu will use integated radeon 3200.
So CPU, Ram, mobo and PSU run me to $250 w/o tax. This is local and CAD, in Canada, better prices than a few online places forsure.

What i have right now:
Mobo: ?? (Old intel one)
CPU: Celeron D 2.8ghz, the old Northwood core (this sucks sooo bad now)
Ram: 512 +256 PC2100.
PSU: 230 W
GPU: N/A
Case: Some emachines one, i'm pretty much using a stock pc aside from addition of 256 mb or ram and a dvd burner.
Oh and running xp sp2, i need to find find a xp sp2 home disk though however.

So much needed upgrade.
Suggestions please..

an extra $50?
Hm would an 8400GS be better? because i can obtain one of those for slightly cheaper, or rather i could use hybrid crossfire and purchase a Radeon 3450 HD....

8400GS and HD3450 will both be horrible for gaming. They were not made for that purpose. The 7300GT would overall be a better choice.

Blah looks like i won't be building anything soon.
Running short on money from my cell phone bill, however that might change since i work all weekend i might make enough tip to pay for the bill + capital ex, but budget is $250, i plan to be buying locally since i've been having iffy's with the post office so looks like i'll be going local.
Here's the store i'm buying local at (their online catalogue, and i've checked out the store before so the prices should be up to date ) - http://www.satacomputer.com

Budget is ballpark - BUT that is for bare essentials - mobo, ram (only 1gb for now), cpu and PSU.
As i gain more money i'll buy more upgrades, but i'll try integrated GPU and see if it's good enough for my needs, if not i'll buy another one in the future.

That is pretty low for a budget.....

i'll post something later from that website.

yeah it is a pretty low budget it'll grow eventually.
What i'm planning for now is : Get a e2160/e2180/e2200 (which one is better for overclocking?) and overclock to at least 2.8ghz, of course i would need a decent mobo, i'd prefer asus, i was thinking of this one :

I'd start off with 1gb of ram + a new PSU.
Then I'd have this list of things to buy:
500 gb SATA HD,
another 2gb ram,
Dedicated GPU, (this has highest priority, but unsure of what to get because i know very little when it comes to graphics)

Also reason for me going this method, is in the future say in like a year or so i could possibly upgrade to a better processor that my mobo supports.
