I'm not sure how easily you can increase your budget but you HAVE to. :(

The OS takes up 1/4 of your budget.

Here's the closest I came to building you a computer and this one doesn't even have a graphics card yet. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/cyn4wP

If you actually are looking to build a decent gaming computer that'll play medium-high settings, look here: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/sTctHx

I'm not sure how higher level Intel builds will compare, but I can tell you Australia doesn't have a good selection on parts, and they're overpriced compared to the US :(

this is the cheapest i could build, and its till over your price and doesnt have the OS
Tips: We've all done it, just acquire yourself a "genuine" copy of windows from another pc.
save up some more money. I understannd that money is very tempting to spend, but just save another$ 100 and you are good to go. you need to realize though, with this build and your price range, you will be limited to what games you will be able to enjoy right? sure you can play League of Legends and minecfrat, but good luck trying to play any tripple a titles on anything over med settings.

Depending on sourcing and requirements you may want to stick to something like and fm2 or fm2+ board with an a10 or a8 apu and some half decent ram since with a tight budget you won't really be able to afford any major dedicated graphics cards (and my a10-6800k using the igpu seems to be capable of low-med settings on newer games)

Aside from that I don't really have many reccomendations but my machine was made from my old parts plus around $500 nzd for a new mobo, ram and a good apu.
Depending on local auction sites you could probably get a rather cheap sizable HDD cheap if you look at the right time of year, just grabbed a 1TB (actually 931GB cause ****ed maths by companies) drive for under $60 nzd.

As for O.S you could always go linux (though less game support there I guess) or an old unsupported variant of windows that microsoft do not care about any moar.

Also I assume you'd atleast have some basic old parts lying around unless this is your first build right?

Kinda need more deets on the full reqs and such before I could start giving you much of an estimate.
