Budget Gaming Rig

[Charlie11x]

Well I am building a new computer for the holidays and need some advice. My budget is $600 without the os. Can anyone throw together a build for me? It will be used for gaming and normal pc crap that my family does.

Thanks in advance!

$617.93 before rebates.
$582.93 after rebates.

If you need to absolutely get under $600, drop the video card to a HD 3870 or 3850. :good:

ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO ($99.99)

Patriot Viper II Sector 5 4GB (2 x 2GB)DDR3 1600 ($109.99)
($99.99 after $10.00 Mail-In Rebate)

HIS Radeon HD 4830 512MB ($94.99)

OCZ Fatal1ty 550W ($69.99)
($44.99 after $25 Rebate)

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB ($54.99)

RAIDMAX Tornado Computer Case ($39.99)

LITE-ON Black DVD Burner ($28.99)

That's a very good build for the budget. And yeah rather go for the 4830 over the 3870/3850.
