Budget PC for a friend

hey guys I was wondering if you could look this over and tell me what you think.
Uses will be light video editing, CAD and speech recognition software...

that motherboard comes with onboard audio. for a budget build (and even for higher budget builds) it will be good. unless you are an insane audiophile you won't notice any real difference.
 
Ehh... Integrated audio is alright but I'd take a low end oundcrad like the one I have (see sig) over integrated anyday. It has those X-Fi features so everything is clearer.

+1 on the case, I have it, best case i've had so far.
 
I did not add an Optical Drive or Operating system as those are pretty self explanatory. But, to be honest, the 2nd build is of much higher quality and the power supply is able to do wonders. I would go with the second build if I were you, for your friend.
