Budget water cooling for my cpu

With my cpu over clocked im playing cod 2 and getting 53 C at some points (the summer is here and my room is hot) I am thinking about water cooling.
The main reason is my cpu is definatly getting too hot.

Am i better off buying a cheap kit? as i dont want to spend a lot at all (around £50 give or take) Of could i buy individual parts for less.

Will i see a significant temp decrease ?

Also should i water cool my northbridge while im at it? my two video cards are very close to it within 1 cm - it would be tight )

I have looked at the aqua gate viva and the thermaltake 375 big water kits so far

I dont think the viva is what im after so im leaning towards the thermaltake.

Has any one any suggestions on what to get - or if i should not bother etc...

Im from uk so please uk only sites.

Thanks

i know its fine but it can get up to 60 under 100 % load and id like it to be cooler

would i be better of buying a new cpu h/s such as the thermaltake ultra or tuniq tower 120?

what cpu temp do you get

I don't think those temps are anything to worry about, water cooling would be Ok, but I think you'd have to cool the CPU and the GPU, because if you had all the pump, resiviour and tubes everywhere it'd kill the airflow, which would affect things still being passively cooled.

Don't go for cheap watercooling, it's just not worth it. Instead, invest in a high quality aftermarket heatsink. Like you said, the tuniq tower is a good choice, or the Big Typhoon.

Yes but then i would still want to overlcock that to its limits aswell.

I think im going to get the tuniq tower 120

But this means id have to take off my side 25 cm fan as it will not fit
