Ok heres the thing, i have 350$ from when i sold my tiller, and i dont really want to go over that.

I want to build my parents a new computer cause there emachine(3000+) is very slow, so i want to upgrade them to some new dual cores.

I already have vista, so i just need hardware. Can anyone make up a build for me?:)

And you could prolly use the odd currently in the emachines tower, and come up to a total after rebates of $362.95

That guys :), what about a e5200 system? it would be a little cheaper, and i could overclock it...

Would an overclocked 5200 @ 3.2ghz compare to a 710 @ 2.6ghz?

Because all my parents do is internet, and photo managment, they have no need for a cpu more powerful than mine :D but would the 710 be better for them?

well, at the very least go with a 7750 kuma, the e5200 is socket 775 which as we all know, has pretty much been superseded by socket 1366. Akaik there will be few/none more released for 775 while with am2 you will have backward compatibility for at least 12 months, more than likely longer(with an amd chipset, not nvidia as they dont put out as many bios updates)(example- 2 yr old 680g a friend of mine has, they could buy a brand new phenom II and toss it in and run it).

A Pentium E5200 overclocked is no match for the processing power of a Phenom II 710 Tri-Core. I would go with the Phenom II 710. Your parents won't have to update their computer for quite some time if they go with a Phenom II processor.
