Yo,

I have a few queston:

1) Is the build OK and can it be better for the same price average?
2) Is the PCI slot on the MB a 16 pin?
3) Is there any need of air or water cooling here? (Told him no but what the hell, let's make sure)

Case: cooler master HAF 915R
Motherboard: asus B150I pro gaming wifi aura mini tix socket lga 1151
PSU: corsair rm550X modulaire 80 gold plus
HDD: western digital blue 2To sata 600 argent
SSD: sandisk sataIII 240go
GPU: gforce gtx 1060 6go
CPU: intel core i5 6500
RAM: 2x4 go ddr4 corsair vengeance

For question (2) I think I found the answer which is 16 pins, can you confirm that? (here : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B150I-PRO-GAMING-WIFI-AURA/specifications/ )

That is PCI-E x 16 for video card.

Why do you go for that case? That is a long case when compare other itx cube case.
i don't see the point of paying extra for m-itx but using big case
I would say go for cooler master elite 130 or Fractal design core 500

Or grab matx cube case like Silverstone SG11 such that you can have more expansion slot

Non-OC PC don't need water-cooling. You may consider aftermarket heatsink as it usually quieter.

I have no idea why he chose this case, he gave me the list yesterday night :)

I'll let him know.

Thing is this is mostly a gaming PC and the lack of space will make it go pretty hot. I'm not even sure there is space for everything in there... Any idea? Is ITX really a good idea for those kind of use?

No. Mainly ITX is used for people with space requirements inside a desk or perhaps just using it as a file server. There is no room in those mini ITX cases, not recommended for gaming.

There's a whole community built around ITX gaming. It's not ideal but it's definitely doable if you have the right hardware. I'd only go that route as a fun project or if your available space demands it. Otherwise a mid tower ATX gives you much for flexibility.
