Why not buy a combo CPU/MB already put together... this way you don't have to spend even more money?

As you can see... it even has an on board video adapter. All you need is a HDD, RAM, Optical drive, case, and keyboard and mouse. It'll save you even more money! Because you are looking at spending over $100.00 for those two components...

It's just a suggestion if you want something even less in price to make your budget!

thanks Buyitpc I didnt think of that

Sure this board I sell... for around $80. so with it, you can simply add the components in fact, I can quote you up a price on everything if you like. Do you intend to use XP or VISTA?

i intend to use xp for now ill find out tonight my friends aunt just wants a basic system

It sounds good to me... because Vista will require a little bit more memory to play on the safe side. Although, 1GB is alright, according to MS. But, more the better in my opinion to get the best performance.

Well... let's not dwell on that issue, how about I work you up a price with all the components and if you like it we can talk further?

ok sounds good do you take money order as payment just in case Im given the money to pay instead of my friends aunt and can you just get the components ill asemble no offence to you or nothing

Sure, in fact if you use Pay-Pal I take that too. I can work up the whole price of things for you. Why not PM me so I can give you my e-mail address, or visit my website. I don't like to post it publicly.

I knew this computer will fall within the budget. However, I would rather stick to his orginal choice.
Because the computer suggested by Buy-it PC have no room to upgrade as Socket A M/B is completely outdated.
With your orginal set up, you could upgrade in future instead of building the whole again.

By the way, I would choose this M/B

In most cases I would agree... but being the facts he explained has nothing really to do with a serious upgrade... it wouldn't apply.

It's his choice of course, as an option. The decision is always his to make. But, if price and his needs are what are important, he could go this way or another. It would cost him less for the purpose of the need.

Well, PIE - let me know what you think, or feel about the option and let me know.

No hard feelings.
