okay i am building a computer soon. i have looked at many diferent possible builds. but i want to know what you would build for $2000 US. including moniter mouse keybored ect.
Build me a computer

1. We would need your intent concerning this computer. What will it be used for?
2. As you may or may not know, Intel will be releasing their Conroe cpu line ~July 23, so if you can wait until after then, you would be able to save a lot of money on your processor, regardless of which manufacturer you choose. So basically, do you plan on on waiting?

If you meant my question on whether he was going to wait until the big price drop was stupid...I figured it was at least somewhat valid.
If he has $2000 to spend on a computer, waiting until after the 23rd of July could and probably would change his build...anywhere from the obvious (cpu only) all the way up to half his system or more.
If he wants people to spec out a system for him now but he wants to wait until the 23rd to buy...we would have to adjust for that and let him know what he should do, what he should plan on getting, give him an option B, whatever. In any case, it would be good to know regardless.
