Haha yeah Windows 7. I am student at college, I can get win 7 pro for $30 from microsoft student. I already have it. And yes I just a gamer, video/photo editor. I have program like sony vegas pro, paint shop pro x2, adobe cs4, and much more.
 
Ok, I have question about apply Thermal Compound. Before I put heatsink on CPU, do I need one drop on CPU then install heatsink on the CPU or one drop and spread on CPU then install heatsink?
 
Say I build a new desktop with new motherboard, processor, etc... and just plug in my 7200rpm hard drive from my old desktop with Windows XP Home SP3, can I just get going that way? If yes or no, why or why not? Thanks.

Yes you can do that. All you have to do is download/CD for a new driver because you use old driver and need new driver.

I will upgrade my case later. My computer temp. are 72F-85F at Idle, 92F-112F at load. Working great for 7 days and no problem!
