I have a local retail store which sells things in store for cheaper price then newegg sometimes, but this is what I'm thinking of when I build my computer:

Case + Power Supply:

CPU:

Mobo:

Memory:

CD/DVD Drive:

Video Card:
I'm going to use my Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT.

I only have a 400~500 budget. If you guys could help me which my parts, and what you think I should upgrade, please let me know. Also if you guys could tell me if they're compatible with each other.

Thanks!

Edit:

+ OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

Does the 4-500 include Windows 7?

Do you have a case you can use for now?

I did a little looking at NE only, but you can get better. Even if the budget includes the os and a case.

what he said and plus i'd really recomend going for like a caviar blue/black 1tb for same or less, green will be slow on loading anything and not really meant for main drive, more of a backup and storage drive. and where do you live, newegg will do you better and tiger direct too if you're in u.s. or other places it goes to.

I have a disc laying around for Windows 7 Ultimate, never used it.
I'm in Canada,
do you guys have any recommended builds for a budget from 4-500? I guess I can order from newegg if it's the cheapest.
Thanks for the feedback btw.

newegg is one of the best prices, always rivals others and they are good at replacing anything that breaks before arrival which isn't common but happens, they are just the most popular and have constant 24/7/365 deals that will save you a ton, but idk if they ship to canada, i'll put a good build together in a minute

dang it, the parts are shipped from the us so the prices are a little higher sometimes, shipping is more, and alot of discounts aren't the same

Which ever has the cheapest price for what your looking for. Have not had a problem with either. But if Tiger has a rebate and its through Tiger not the manufacture, forget about getting the rebate.

i had a list then saw there was a canadian version and theres where more then you wanted so i'm re making the list with a little bit cheaper parts that are still of good wuality. and going am3+ so you can update to bulldozer later on when it is too slow, but that''s be a little while

i think this is everything correct me if not, and i left you almost a hundred to get a nice case with, since that's more of a personal decision.

almost always and anything close enough to the price is using a crap brands that make it not worth it. and what is it showing in the links, like the product isn't found or something

there, i added the name under the links so you can copy and paste the name into the search box and it'll bring it up

oh alright, thanks! how about these combo packs newegg offers?

After this, i'm going to post a new thread, and delete this one and see if anyone else has any suggestions or alterations to the build you sent me. (will credit you)

i looked and didn't see any good combo's for these products and the only way to find them is to click add to cart then sometimes there is a page with a couple and then you tell it to show all xx combos and then you look threw them, they normally save like 20, but i didn't want to spend a couple hours clicking on every processor you might want and looking threw the lists, and normally i combo with a mobo but no am3+'s are combo'd or at least very few.
