hi, so i have my build in my sig, and i am very happy with it, it was been great to me, i just want to upgrade a little bit so that i won;t have to upgrade for a while. So this was what i was thinking, switch from ddr2, to ddr3, and go with the 720 BE, but other than that im stuck, guys, what are some good mobo's that overclock good, cause my mobo right now for some wierd reason won;t let me up the voltage, and it won't even go past 2.835ghz, so i want to get a little bit more overclockablitly.
So i have the 720 BE.
Motherboard: ?
PSU: ?
RAM: ?

I would like to keep this under 350$ if possible.

It would help knowing what "720 BE" is... i'm geussing its AM2+, right?

PSU is fine, IMO.

DDR3 is not nessecary for the build you have. It is a waste of money. Will your 720 BE run on your current mobo? If it does, I would rather recommend uping for video card. THEN you can get a psu. And if you have the cash, DDR3. Thing is though, you will pay around 40 for 2GB DDR3. Getting only 2GB when you already have 4GB ddr2 is downgrading yourself, so you would have to get 4GB again, bringthe cost of ram alone up to about 80. Then you need a ddr3 mobo, thats gonna be around 100 as well. INsteda, you should buy something like the 4850 for $120, and a 600W psu (more than you need but then your safe for future) for around $80. That's $280. If your current mobo will not support your cpu, your gonna pay $50-60 bucks on a mobo, thats $330.

If your upgrading now with a processor/board and memory , since you want a AM3 processor, get a AM3 board and DDR3 memory or you will just be upgrading to another dead end.

No, i will only be updating my cpu, mobo, ram, and the psu. I am perfectly happy with my video atm, my motherboard can;t get the newer phenom 2 :(, so thats why i am upgrading to a newer motherboad.

Stranglehold, thanks for the suggestion, i will be looking into those parts, thx man :)

Also, would i be able to get something like this, with that psu you suggested in the future?

If you plan on upgrading gpu to something such as the gts 250(aka 9800gtx+) i would look at a corsair power supply, damn good power supplies and built solidly. Such as this model here:

^ahh damn, ive never been good with rebates:o, i would like it to be about 70$ max w/o rebates. I wish i could afford that :)
