Hey guys! Im looking to buy new gaming computer in few days. I've got like 1300$ for the tower. But i dont know if its better to get Dual or quad to play. Im playing Cod 4-5 left 4 dead, farcry. Any1 got any idea where i can find pretty good computer for that price (with shipping)

Would you want to build your own computer you save a lot of money this way and can completely customize your rig

Yeah building yourself is cool, if it's not your first one, and untill you get into problems.
Look here for a few descent ones:

This one is cool and with limited warranty you can get it for less than $1300 shipped

Few others cheaper:

All 3 around $1K shipped - all already overclocked, ready to ship in 1-2 days.

I personally guarantee quality, I've got that one on top (first one) and I play Crysis 1680x1050 on High with 4x AA enabled, FarCry 2 maxed with AA

i never build computer before so im kinda lost with that lol! so any1 can help me? and if its possible i saw like dell we can pay every month it is possible on some site? any suggest?

Looks good to me, but why 1600mhz ram? I don't really see that much of a performance increase between 1066mhz and 1600mhz.

Also what about a DVD drive and operating system? And that graphics card is big and hot, make sure you have plenty of fans.

Looks OK then, just make sure the system has plenty of cooling. Otherwise, it will catch fire!

Hope that helps :)

Oh, OK then just go with the 1600. When I checked about 2 weeks ago (in UK) there was a massive difference of something like £22 a gig! Lucky 'ole you.

Well, just make sure you have plenty of case fans really. They don't have to be expensive or pretty, just as long as they do the job. And make sure they fit the openings on the case - the site will probably list where you can put what size fans and such. I would put a fan anywhere you can get one. GTX2xx cards can get really hot if not properly cooled.

There is a difference in speed between 1066 and 1600 - I have benched it on my i7. And also 1600 helps a lot when overclocking because of the internal multy in integrated memory controller. 1600 is the way to go.
And it does not run hot at all, my i7 was almost the same and it was not hotter than older Q6600. And thats with stock cooler.
Also make sure you will get LGA 1366 bracket for your CNPS9700 - by default they fit only LGA 775, so you might have to get bracket separate:

Hope that helps

And Antec 300 is a nice case, although it does not have that much space as Antec 900 to hide all the cables. I would pick mudular power supply - makes everything much easier.

Antec 300 can fit 3 extra 120mm fans - 2 on the front and 1 on the side, with extra 3 airflow is perfect, it already has 120mm on the back and 140mm top.

For socket 1366 I would pick this - free shipping $59.99 and 1366 ready

Good luck

ok thank you very much guys! and i think ill change my case for the antec twelve hundred...one of my friend told me the nine hundred is kinda small. And maybe in future ill get another one video card so... i need space i think :P

WoW Computer

First time building a computer. First time ever using a forum. So, sorry if I do something wrong and please correct me if I do.:D
Anyway, I'm looking to build computer as cheap as possible to play World of Warcraft at 60fps. I have a basic understanding of building computers but don't feel confident going solo yet. Ok WoW requires-
15GB HDD Space
1gb of ram
1.3 GHZ processor
about 128 mb of video. I have a disc drive, monitor, mouse, keyboard. Anyway I pretty sure this is all compatible and it'll do what I want. I just need a second opinion before I start ordering.
Motherboard
Case
Vid Card
Ram
HDD
Processor
Total Price-290.94 I could go about 50$ or so higher. I'm gonna be running vista so I want 4gb* of ram at least. Any help would be appreciated.

You mean 4GB of ram. Oh and dont forget to get the 64 bit so all your ram will be recognized.

WoW Computer

Oh I didn't know 32bit couldn't recognize 4gb. Thanks for telling me I would have probably tried to send the ram back or something. Alright so since you didn't say anything bad about it I'm assuming that it's an alright build and it should work. So I guess I'll order it. Thanks for the help.
