Building a $500 Computer

What is the best computer i coudl get for $500?

It woudl be more game based and be able to run photoshop quite well and bryce 5.5.
Don't count the case monitor mouse or keyboard.

I would look into the super duper dell rebates you can find online. If you can track down all the right coupons you can get a Dell at a killer price.

As for your specific needs I am not too familiar with what is on sale right now (since I don't work sales) but a lower end AMD system would probably fit that budget.
 
I have a $500 machine configured somewhere, letme try to find it.

edit: darn, it got deleted, but i'll tell you vagely what it had..

am2 X2 3800+
7600GS
1gig DDR2 ram
REALLY cheap motherboard
80gb harddrive
$10 case
cheapest DVD burner I could find
