For web surfing, office use etc their fine, it's just that none of the better performing mobos come as micro.

Over here you can build a custom under $300 if you really cheap out. Used to be able to get as low as around $240 before the s462 disappeared.

Eh, no thanks. I think i will use some old parts and buy a video card, hard drive, and ram. But thanks for the offer. Also inboard graphics isnt too great for gaming. Thanks for the replies

No, the CPU is to slow.

I know the Min Sys Req says 800 MHz processor or equivalent but you would not get an acceptable framerate.

System: 800 MHz processor or equivalent
RAM: 256 MB
Video Memory: 32 MB

Other: A T&L-capable video card MB

The cpu is really holding back, our family computer can play the Sims 2 fairly well with these specs:

Celeron D 2.4Ghz, 512MB DDR400, 9200SE 128MB, 40GB IDE
 
get an IOGear network devices to partner with your computer.....i heard they are cheap and got a good tech support 24x7........ their number is 866-9-IOGear
 
Computergeeks.com offers some P4 systems around $150 - $250. Get one of those and a monitor and you're set. (Assuming you have a keyboard and mouse extra)
 
Getting PC hardware around $200 is not difficult. But you need to use Linux. And I come with these:

It is not worth to get any AMD socket A/ 939 or Intel socket 478 with DDR RAM. All out dated.
The CPU I chosen is based on architecture similar with C2D CPU . I expect it can ocing a bit.
And the motherboard I chosen can use for latest C2Q/ C2D, in case you want a upgrade in future, despite the brand is not really good.

P4's are outta date. I might try a $250 (No os or speakers or monitor or mouse :P)...

As for the above, Asrock is a bad brand... last priority man...
