Building a Comp...need help with compatibilty

Ok, so I decided it was time for an upgrade as my computer is now a bit behind the times. I have had experience building a computer as I did the one I have currently, however, ever since the new cpu technology has come out i have had trouble getting my head around it.
After a lot of researching, and a few headaches, I have come up with the parts I want to use to build my new computer. However, every time I seem to be confident they are all compatible, something I read makes me doubt it.
I would really appreciate it if anyone can let me know if the components I have listed below are all compatible with one another.

Motherboard
Asus P5LD2-VM I945G Pentium D 4xDDR2 Video PCIE GiLan LGA775(all in one)
or
Intel BLKD945GPMLKR LGA775 I945G Raid DDRII mATX PCI-EX Glan SATAII ViiV All in One

CPU

I already have a case but I'm not sure what type it is.
Any help anyone can give me would be great.

well if the motherboards can support the Intel Socket 775 Pentium D930

then the two should be okay,

I would go with the ASUS board. That video card is not that great, if your going to be gaming, you'll definatley want something a little better. Something such as this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814131007. Also you'll probally need a Power Supply. I recommend this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817174023.
If your not sure about your case, you can get one for pretty cheap.
