Building a Computer and I Need Feedback

So I've decided to build my first computer as I had enough of my current one - 256 mb of ram, geforce 7300 GT and 2.4 Ghz (yea its that bad).

What I will be doing with my new computer is gaming, mostly diablo 3, and watching movies and videos in 1080p HD. I want the computer to last for 5 to 10 years with the possibility of upgrading the computer throughout its lifespan. I live in Toronto and looking to spend about 1 - 1.5K on the computer parts + monitor. What I need from you, is to review my current build and provide feedback. This is what I plan on getting:

Case: $79.99 + $24.99 (shipping)

CPU: $219.99

GPU: $194.99 + $12.24 (shipping)

Ram: $67.99 + $9.99 (shipping)

Motherboard: $189.99 + $12.24 (shipping)

Disc Drive: $69.99 + $10.74 (shipping)

Power Supply: $89.99 + $3.99 (shipping)

Hard Drive: $39.99 + $10.74 (shipping)

Operating System: $109.99 + $6.99 (shipping)

Monitor:
I haven't picked this yet but I estimate it will be around $199.99.

Sub Total = $1354.82
Total with 13% tax = $1530.95

These shipping prices are ridiculous so I would probably pick up everything in store except the case.

I have the keyboard and mouse already so I do not require those. I am trying to build a blue on black theme computer with SLI technology available if I choose to use that in the future. My question is, could I get a "better" computer for the same price?

yeah, newegg is an american based company, so they have to ship from one of the 3 warehouses in cali., ten., and n.j., along with the fees to go across boarders, so yeah, but if you know how to look you can get the right price, i'll look for you cuz there are a few problems with the build, and i know in america unless your in the state it ships from then there is no tax so idk if you have to pay, but 13%, goddamn that's ****ing rediculous, i mean i know yall get a lot of government assistance programs and all but damn. But i'll look for you with a budget of approximately 1400 but i'll aim for 1300

and do you plan on doing sli or crossfire later, if not you only need 5-550 watts from a brand like corsair/antec/siverstone/ocz/etc., but a brand like rosewill is known to kill systems if you get power parts like these, but idk about this series or if it's good, but rosewill is just a bad brand in general, i saw 1 of the other guys here refering to it as roadkill :)

Could you elaborate on the few problems except the power supply. Thanks!

Yes, I do plan on doing sli or crossfire later. Also, thanks for letting me know about rosewill - thats 1 problem down :).

what is your postal code, that way it will calculate shipping so i can stay in budget, so far i've actuall gotten you build better for almost the same, mail in rebates rule.

ok, this shows that the final price is 1537.89, if you want me to i can pull that down some but otherwise this'll be a beast.

doesn't allow combos on the lists so here: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.689893

and the list: http://secure.newegg.ca/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=14408151

Very nice. Don't know how I missed that mobo combo ><. There are a few things I would change such as a blue ray player and a smaller HDD. Thanks for the quick response. Take care.

well you don't even need that expensive of a mobo anyways, there are plenty of nice ones close to 150 and less.
