Im not sure where you got that info, but yes SLI is compatible with dual monitors. The card I chose also has two outputs to accommodate.

If your going to use SLI (have two video cards linked together) then you can't do dual monitors. It doesn't make a difference how many outputs you have, you can only do one. The only way to do multiple monitors with SLI is to buy a third card, generally of which would be PCI.

Hmmmm, thats pretty interesting. A buddy of mine has an SLI system setup with dual monitors and it runs in SLI mode. Perhaps its a certain hardware setup or something.
