Building a computer, help please!

Ok, so I have 1000 dollars to spend on a new computer. I would like to know what i should get to get the best bang for my buck. I know i would like an 8800 video card and 2gb ram. Also, I already have a Core2Duo processor and a monitor and mouse and keyboard.

Well, you are going to need a motherboard which supports your processors FSB, a heatsink to cool your CPU down, a case for everything to go in.
