I want to buy a new computer and I have no clue what to put in it:

Budjet retrictions:
As much as it needs for it to kill the world :)

What I wants:
Best thing around

If anyone is interested in making this computer, i would be very grateful :)

Go crazy on this one :)

I was thinking running SLI GTX 295

Just to give you an idea of what i am ready to put in like liquid cooling, blu-ray, everything that is pretty much the best

Which city in Canada?

What will you use it for? To kill the world, you will need a satellite that can open as requested, with thousands of perfectly angled mirrors, that will act as a magnifying glass - directing light from the sun to one point on the globe. I think I saw that in James Bond.

Or you will need a 1 cm particle of red matter, injected directly in the core of a planet. This will create a black hole that will suck the planet into a parallel dimension. Because the planet does not have any gravitational stabilizers, it will be torn to pieces during the process.

Which method of world destruction do you prefer?

No but to be serious, I'd like somthing like hovering around $3000-$4500, it's only I was super excited because my mother told me the good news, that's why i said to kill the world and all that stuff

The only problem is, I am not really up to date in computers because i haven't been following for a couple months. I was thinking to run GTX 295, with good components inside. I was looking alienware at school today and i found it kind of expensive for what you can do by yourself.

Sorry again if I sounded like an idiot :S

So ya 3000$-4500$ for the tower

Not to worry. One system coming right up. For $3000 to $4500 we'll put 2 or 3 GTX 295 in there.

Do you need any monitors?

Watercooling Total----------------------$364.80

Pretty much the ultimate system bar not using an extreme edition cpu(waste of money as they all overclock about the same anyhow), and not watercooling the video cards(not really worth it either). Also, no dedicated sound card, but you could just drop an ssd(or both) and get an pci-e X-fi titanium(only free slot on mobo will be a pci-e x1 due to 3 double slot cooling cards).

personally, i would go for a pair of gtx 295's/285's in sli, then get a supermicro board with two lga 1366 sockets, then get a pair of x3570's(its something along those lines, i can't remember exactly, 2.66ghz), then load it up with 24gb's of ddr3@1333mhz
edit: i'll make a list in a bit

Those supermicro boards dont support sli though dont they? Plus you gotta remember 4500cad is like 3800usd, plus newegg charges a little more than the exchange rate so it can be rounded to ~$3500usd.

I'm scared 24 GB of ram won't be enought guys...

Thanks for the first list, i'll be seriously looking at this thread to see what you guys come up with, so I can choose the best compuoter to suit me :)
