hey guys,

Hm.. The pointer that you must know about a gaming computer must have a good Processor a large space of HD and high ram with the latest video card. I think AMD's Phenom II is just a good kick for any games and a large HD that is about 750 GB is enough and a 4 GB of rams. With the video card i think 1gb of video card is a must for the latest games. But still I have no idea of any good mother board and brands for it. But I think walking around stores will also help on deciding one.

If you're buying on Newegg - do a google search for coupon codes before you submit your order. I was able to take an extra $20.00 off my MOBO last night for just taking an extra minute or two to look for a discount.

Also when you decide what you want - look at your parts - and check the combo deal option to see if there's a deal associated with your MOBO - or GPU - or whatever part you're looking at. You can save an extra 10-50 bucks many times mixing and matching parts on one purchase.

Don't look at only the memory size.
Is that so well sorry if I advised a wrong thing. But that is what I think of a good pointers that is must be remembered. Also always read the reviews of each parts that you are going to buy so that you'll know it's capability on what kind of games that it can handle.

Doesn't he also need a DVD Drive/burner OS and maybe a screen :D

Oh I mis that part Just chose Lite-On CD-R/DVD combo burner driver. Vista is good but I think you must go with XP service pack 2. Not so graphical but surely easy to be maintained OS.
