Yes, OCZ is a good brand in SSD's, matter of fact there one of the top dogs in SSD. But I would go with their newest edition, Agility 4, not 3.

Okay with all these parts it comes to $1,369.44 which is cheaper then I expected it to be. Now all I need is a monitor.

Of the many maunfacturer's that used that series of Sandforce controllers to get Sata III speeds, OCZ seemed to have the worst luck/most issues. Go with Vertex 4, Samsung 830, Intel 330 or 520 series, Crucial m4, Mushkin.

I wouldn't go VP. Thier HCG is better. And this one is the best one suggested.

Yes! quite a bit better, you should go for it.

Ppl were wondering if OCZ was going to recall some of thier Sandforce drives there for a whil. thier newest> Vertex 4 uses a different highly stable and fast controller. Thats a good choice.

If you go off the list I suggested ^ up there, you can't go wrong. Just get the cheapest one. They are all fast and good. You can also add Agility 4 to that list.
