Building A Computer

Hi there, i don't post very often on this forum but i hope you can help me. I am wanting to build myself a new computer including monitor keyboard and mouse and speakers i have a maximum budget of £350 GBP. I will be using this computer for gaming, browsing the internet and doing homework. I am hoping some of you who are more knowledgeable than me would be able to put a good build together.

Preferably i would like to buy my parts from
www.microdirect.co.uk or www.ebuyer.com

I know that my budget is quite low for a gaming machine but i was thinking that i should get an intel core 2 duo e6300 processor and a decent mobo. i wouldn't mind comprising on stuff like RAM for now i could just 512mb now and 6 months down the line i could upgrade to 1 gig and the same with stuff like the monitor i wouldnt minde getting a crt monitor and then upgrading as i get more money.
oh and one more thing theres no need to add postage to the stuff from
www.microdirect.co.uk because i live within driving distance from it.

With only 350GBP, you should be looking into a lower end AMD setup, for instance an AMD Athlon 64 3200+.
