Hi Cofo,
First of all, my greetings to everyone who contribute to this super tech forum :good:. I am thinking of building a desktop PC for my home. I am not an active gamer and don't expect my machine to run highly interactive games as well.
But I am a person who is highly dependent on heavy applications such as multiple browsers, outlook email client, eclipse server and probably some more applications. I would like to build my desktop myself, and I am all ears to hear your valuable suggestions. Here are my requirements. I do not wish to do a cost cutting anywhere as well. I prefer to use a well known manufactured product just so that I can live with my hassle free work environment
.
So I am not exactly trying to build a budget PC, rather a highly functional one
1. Need a processor like Intel Core i3 or i5, so that I dont have to worry about system performance while running heavy applications simultaneously.
2. Need a suitable motherboard for the processor. If possible, the motherboard model numbers.
3. RAM module that is of a branded company that can support the above two.
4. Power supply unit (SMPS) which can offer enough power supply.
5. I can live with a very limited HDD space, and I presume HDDs are coming mostly of size 500Gig. If there is one less, I would like to know about that too.
I appreciate any valuable guidelines that you can offer, as well as assistance in assembling my desktop tower.
