hey, new here, sorry if this is the wrong section.

i do alot of home recording ehre in my home studio, i also do video editing for youtube, i also have some new, games that i want to perform at their tops.

im about to but a custom built
pc but i need help slecting parts

i would like to try to keet it UNDER 1500 dollars 1700 Maximum, this is not including moniter.


Can someone please help me, im trying to run games such as call of duty 4 etc, and i record high quality music here in my home studio, can some one please list the recomended parts? THANKS ALOT :).

wait a sec, doesnt a computer NEED a sound card?? and isnt the better your sound card the better your quality if say, playing music or recording music?

and im afraid things i use such as my older hardware wont work on Vista.

the 4870 is a hell of a lot better than the 8800GT/S
it will be 100% vista or XP compatibly
the MOBO has a on board sou round sound card on it.
