Building a Gaming/Audio PC

If you want a good sound card for recording then take a look at the E-MU products. They support ASIO and thus allow you to get very low latencies, lower than with most mainstream sound cards.

Both builds has their ups and downs. Might as well list a few of them.

CPUs - Heh, same one.

Motherboards - Both support 45nm processors, for future updates, but the P45 is a native supporter. While the P35 needs a BIOS flash (these days, already flashed before shipping to you).

RAM - For one, mine's hecka cheaper, and has one better timing (:D)... Both are made by OCZ...

That is the one man. You should order that rig right now. The price and power combined makes it the best for what you are doing. I record here too. I use Cubase on my rig and it works great with a digitech usb mic. and usb guitar input cable. Works fast too.
