Hi there, about to build a gaming computer, just need to check if it will all be compatible and such before i order it.

ASUS P5Q Pro
Intel Core 2 Duo E7200
Kingston 4GB PC2-6400 DDR Kit
VisionTek Radeon HD 4850
Western Digital Caviar SE16 640GB SATA
Samsung SH-S223F 22x DVD+/-RW DL
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

i was going for under $1000, so i'm not really interested in some of the top of the line stuff that'd cost me millions. any feedback or flaming appreciated, thank you!

If you're planning on using Vista 64, you may want to consider 4GB of DDR2-1066 instead on 2 GB of DDR2-800. Otherwise it looks solid.

Looks good. But I do agree that if you want to get Vista 64 you should go with 4GB over 2GB.

Don't get that CPU, if anything for the E8400 or the Q6600, also get the 4870.
