Building a gaming computer

Hi guys,

I'm planing to build a gaming computer have a budget of around about $700-800, it is my first time but i know things about ram and video cards just not MOBO's =]

since its a gaming computer, its mostly about video card, processor and ram.
Maybe enough to run red alert 3 on ultra high quality

Any suggestions for the whole system? such as what type of MOBO, video card, ram, etc.
At least 2 gig ram to cut down costs but i know most of you would prefer a 4 gig ram for a vista 64bit
Well vista 64 bit or 32 bit?

Any suggestions would be helpful =]

on your budget I would go for something like a q9400, lga 775 mobo (supporting at least 4GB ddr2 at least 800MHz ram, preferably 8, at least 4 sata, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 4850, 500GB hard drive, vista (32 bit or 64 bit, i don't think it really matters) dvd burner, 600W PSU, and a cool case.

I would stick with Vista 64bit. 32bit will only recognize up to 3Gb of memory, and if you ever want to upgrade to more memory. Then 32bit will be holding you back, and it'd be a waste to rebuy a 64bit later on.

Might take awhile to buy the parts lol well hope this is enough to play ultra high quality for red alert 3 =]
