Building a gaming computer.

why can't you use newegg, just wanted to know

you have to get a windows 7 oem system builders disk, otherwise no os and no working computer, it's 100 normally, sometimes on sale

i'd get a wetern digital caviar blue/black or seagate barracuda, they are better quality and i trust tose brands more, just my preference really, but they cost about the same anyways

that's a nice case so keep it if yo want

an i5 2500k with almost any motherboard that is z68 lga1155 will work alot better han that, nothing wrong with that but it's faster and newer, anandtech comparing the i5 2500k v the 965 extreme, they don't have 960 and this should be faster, and the i5 beats it in most cases.

the power supply isn't the best brand and idk where it is in quality, so i can't say get it but can't say not to either since idk much about them

the ram is good but overpriced, newegg'sgot almost the same thing for 60 right now

idk on the gpu's either

not too bad but i'll look for you really quick and really newegg'll get you a way better deal than this.

I already have the window 7 disk so that's no problem. i5 2500k> 965 extreme, is that what you're saying? I'm not doubting you but do you have anything to back up your statement? And I really like newegg, but it would be a hassle if the parts come in broken and stuffs. How do they ship their parts? I never order from there before so I'm a bit clueless, haha. I can order from newegg if anything tho.

look at the site anandtech.com and go to their benches section and compare the 2, the 2500k beats the 965 in almost every bench, and in the few it looses at it's not by much, and i've ordered 2 things from newegg, and gotten them both in perfect shape in 3 business days perfectly on time and had no problem, and if they do arrive broken newegg is loved becaue they make it easy to replace them, or so i've heard since it isn't a common event for that to happen.

ah, do you have any tip for buying motherboard? I need help choosing a motherboard that goes well with the i5 2500k.
