Building a new comp, not very expierenced with it but would like to know what you all think of this and any changes you'd suggest

well i had looked at Alienware 1st and the AMD machines are about $1,000 less than Intel so that's what i used in pricing this one, not opposed to using intel

that cpu is actually pritty good!

if its the one ive looked at it bench's very close to the q6600 but it still doesnt beat it or will it overclock better than the q6600......

GO INTEL!!!!!

i can get the q6600 for £100 from uk shops now and the 9950 is more- ive had 3.6ghz out of mine from 2.4ghz stock!

-if you dont mind 2'' less, this is a lot cheaper than the monitor you were lookin at

i would also prefer an intel processor, the e8400 and q6600 both overclock well

i wouldnt change a thing on that build,but i would ditch those speakers for some 5.1 or 7.1 Logitechs.
