My brother has asked me to come up with a new computer for him. All he does with it is play games. The only conditions he has are the following. Black case, Intel based, and his price range is $1200. What do you suggest?

He plans to reuse his optical drives (ide), keyboard & mouse, and his montior. He will need new: power supply, black case, motherboard, CPU, graphics card(s), hard drive, memory.

I told him that I would ask around. What do you guys and gals suggest?

Thanks,
Mako

Not bad...but for almost $100 more, I can't see any real improvements....the mobo doesn't really offer any advantages that your brother will notice for the extra cost...

I would also suggest the Cooler Master Case from my post...it's a FABULOUS case at an excellent price...not flimsy at all, etc.

Computermaineack,
Thanks for the reply. The reason I picked the MB I did is because 1. I've always like ASUS boards, 2. mine has SLI support, a 3. faster memory.

That's why I posted here, I'm looking to get as much advice as possible, to make the best selection.
