Hello there.

I got some problems with finding the correct rams for my new motherboard. The motherboard I just orded is named: "Asus maximus iv extreme". And those type of Ram I orded is named: "Kingston 8GB DDR3 1866MHz (2x4) HyperX" Their Part No. Is: KHX1866C11D3P1K2/8G. I am not really sure about, if they are fitting or not, so it would be great if someone could tell me.. I'v also been looking on some other rams, they are listed under.

* A-Data. Part No. Ax3u1600gc4g9-2g
* Kingston. Part No. KHX1600C9D3P1K2/8G

just sayin', i don't think 1866 is worth the money, but those should definitely fit the motherboard, try turning them upside down or something.

Well, encase your saying, those rams ain't worth my money, what would you sugges? I'v posted some other rams. But, I would perferm if they rams was 2x 4GB and around 1600 or 1866 MHz. If we are getting into 2000 Mhz will the Rams cost to much, encase you ask me.

Anything above 1600mhz doesn't really result in any increase in performance at all. I have the same motherboard as you and would just recommend getting the Corsair Vengeance 8GB kit. You also want to make sure the RAM is rated at 1.5v for this board.

Yes it supports it. The board supports up to DDR3 2200. Using DDR3 1866 is fine, all DDR3 is cheap now. Where are you getting the memory?
