Building A New Gaming PC [ NEED HELP PLEASE ]

Hello Everyone.

So I have found the parts that I would like to use in my new PC that I will build soon.

I haven't purchased anything yet as i'm thinking on things to replace if needed to make my computer better with a good price.

So all the parts that I will be showing is from the same website and will be buying from. Unless suggested a better cheaper website to buy.

If you are using it for games, go for intel
If you really want AMD, ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme is waste of money as you are using GTX 460.

AMD can game just as well as Intel, I agree that Crosshair IV is overkill and some could be saved by going with a difference boart that doesn't necessarily have multi-GPU support, but remember that an ATi, or Nvidia card can be bought later down the line, not for SLI or crossfire (The former of which isn't supported on any AMD chipset), but to have the 460, or other Nvidia card, as Physx, and the ATi as the main card.

Also, no point in spending extra on the hard drive, it is for storage, not for the main drive, that is what the SSD is for. A 5400 or 5900RPM drive would be the better option for less power draw, greater lifespan, less noise and less heat, retirieval times from the storage drive don't have to be quick.

I see you have changed both in your main post though, so that is sort of a non-point now.

Only other thing I would change is the wireless card, I would stick to the "better" brands, DLink, NetGear, Belkin etc

I've used them, and they, along with Marvell, threw up so many problems. The 3 listed though I've never had a single problem with, be it router, wireless cards, wireless USB adapters, none have ever given a single issue.
