Building a new i7 machine .

Hello all, I'm building a new i7 machine, and wanted some feedback.

My spreadsheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmYrADLtM7ZTdEhwdFZXWjJTVUFzM0I4NkJYTVdoaFE#gid=0

Can I get some opinions on my choices? I added notes for all the components as to why I felt they are superior. Please feel free to comment here, or directly on the spreadsheet. Anything with multiple URLs were other items I was considering.

Here's a copy/paste:

Looks like you did your homework mate. The list looks very good. That's gonna be a killer system. :good:

Thanks for the feedback. I've changed my config some. Dropped down to an i5 that was virtually the same speed as an i7, and dropped down to a more reasonable CPU cooler since I don't plan on overclocking it. Doubled the ram to 32GB since the downgrades gave me more of a budget, and "upgraded" to windows 8.1.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to be ordering this tonight.

Here's the new build:

That's fine but there are performance advantage with the i7 because of the HTT. You'll do fine with an i5 though. :)

If you wont be editing or hosting servers or anything i think 32 GB of RAM is unnecessary. You could probably spend that money on a better GPU. Unless you'll be building on a carpet you don't need an anti-static wristband.

Yeah, I dropped it back down to 16GB of RAM after I made this post. Also, the wristband is for a college course, have to buy my own. It just got copied in there by accident.
