Building a PC for me. Opinions.

Ok, first off, those stuff is selected with precision.

Since I don't play the high-end games, this build is meant for N64 and lower, along with UT2004. I know my old 1.33 machine (Second in sig) played with a Geforce 4 MX 4k with no problems.

The board I though is this one:

The CPU is this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819104305
The RAM is 2GB RAM DDRII-533
The HDD will be an 800GB SATA. I don't need excrutiating space either.
The PSU Will be a standard ATX PSU...say 550W.
The GPU, as I don't game much, will be this one:

For the case...this is crucial. I need a Desktop form factor case. My room is hopefully going to get bigger, and what bigger, comes with a corner desk with two PCs. I'm opting for a Desktop switch, as I am going to put the PC ontop. Good airflow is a must. Also, when it's going to be nice and mild outside, I'll open the window, and that will throw air in. Now, here's what I thought:

This one is the one I find the best.

However, this one:

Looks nice. But, I'm a little concerned about 60mm fans. They don't do as well as the 80mm ones.

I was planning previously a beige case, for a RetroTeKno project, but dropped it. Old cases tend to not have fan inputs (Slot 1 days were the most quiet PCs)

What do you think?

Praetor, I should of thought of a budget :P I also am aware that Newegg doesn't ship in Canada. I use it for the item selections. I make an estimate with Canadian conversion. I can pay 50 buck more from the estimate.

The budget is 750 MAX. But, I've made a list. I think it's a better thought:

Motherboard:

$59

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103868

$42

Case:

$70

PSU:

$34

RAM:

$65

HDD:

$43

DVD:

$29

The total combined items WITH taxes and conversion is set to: $598

I make an estimate with Canadian conversion.
Please be aware for certain things like (power supplies, certain high end VCs, mice etc), Canadian prices are substantially cheaper.

The total combined items WITH taxes and conversion is set to
Actually it'd be conversion then tax.

A bit over, you can nix the video a bit if you need to trim the budget

(prices already in CAD)

Actually, I am looking for the ATX Desktop market. I'm going to do this because it will be better for the things I do. All the controls are in front of me.

Although, I preety much like the build of it :)

But, I think I'll go with a MicroATX Board. Let me get one, and I'll get back o you. The rest is preety good :)

Say, this one:

And for the case, how about this one:

Got my eye on it.
