building a pc, need a lot of help

Thing is though, volume does not relate to quality in most cases. What brand are the speakers? do you have a model number? How much did you pay for them? In any case, like said, a good sound card will cost you a bundle, but it is worth it. a Claro II can even make crappy logitech speakers sound half decent. It is more of a personal preference thing. You don't NEED a sound card, but it is nice to have.


You can go off one or both list posted, Or you could do up a list yourself. As long as teh parts are compatible, and quality parts, then you will have no problem with it at all.
 
I got them I think 2 years ago, might have been 3, brand is logitech and they cost me 130 I think. Sound is awesome IMO, shakes the whole house when the bass is up and the sound is always clear.
 
I always seemed to have more problems with NVIDIA drivers than AMD ones but everybody's system is different. You can't guarantee that the NVIDIA drivers will be stable either. It depends entirely on your system.

I would only really consider buying ASUS or Gigabyte boards. MSI are usually pretty good too, but I'd always put ASUS and Gigabyte above them.

You don't need a sound card for them. The sound quality of logitech is a joke at best.
