hey i am planning on building a system with these parts:

CPU: Intel Q6600
MOBO: Asus P5W DH
RAM: OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel
VCARD: ASUS EAH2900XT

I need to know what PSU to get, and also if i should upgrade to 4gb ram rather than two.

if someone has a similar setup let me know how its working out for them.

Hey, I just built a rig with a Q6600. I used a 600 watt OCZ GameXStream PSU, it's pretty nice!

Also, if you go with the 64-bit Vista like I did, I'd suggest getting 4 GB or RAM. I got 4 GB of Corsair XMS2 and it's as quick as lightning.

Corsair 520 is definitely a good way to go like oscary said... as for memory a lot of people say 4 gigs is overkill but if you're running 64 bit vista and a lot of stuff on it then maybe it would be worth it.

That Power Supply Suggested by Good ol' oscaryu is definitly a good choice.

I personally would go with just 3Gig, And run 32Bit Vista.

thnx for the input guys

ya i do plan on running vista no dx10 on xp :( my friend has 2gigs of ram and is running vista business and i noticed lag so thats why i asked

hey i can get OCZ GameXStream 600 Watts for $90 and a mediocre case for like $50-60 do u know of a good case and psu combo that i can get for around $150
