First off.
I would like to introduce my self, im Aj.
hi hi hi lol.
But yeah.
I been looking at Tigerdirect for mobos with the cpu. ( Tigerdirct best online computer store online in my opinion)
But i was wanting a mobo with either a 4gb or 8gb compacity.
I would like to find one with an 8gb.

I was just going to ask for any suggestions for mobos and cpus at a decent price.

Like this computer I have now.
Its garbage.
I mean I bought new hd, coolers, and ram for this computer.
But it still has integrated graphics and takes SDRAM.
Which is pretty outdated.

So yeah.
If you guys could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

At this point.
It really doesn't matter.
Just trying to try new hardware out.
Which one do you perfer.

I have the ASUS M2N-E SLI I got this barebones kit and it all has been working for the past week (upgraded ram to 2, 1gig sticks of sli ready ram from tiger to and it all has been working very well

Alright thanks for the input.
I just looked into it.
Its pretty good kit.
I'll keep that as one of my choices.

Any more suggestions?

Newegg.com is a realy good site, i tend to not go for barbone kits because you realy dont save any money that way. In my opinion I would buy the parts individually.

As for which processor to go for.. If you're into, or willing, to try overclocking then Intels C2d's are supreme. If not then it doesn't really matter, the X2's are pretty close in performance to the C2d.

It's one of the lower end Evga board. But other than that it's great! I've heard good things about those boards..

well uh lets see.
i priced.
a mobo/cpu, ram, and a case.
Including with rebates it came up to be $367.
I don't know.
Not planning on spending more than 400 with thats including with my RAM and case.
My case is set and thats 149.
So yeah I guess like 250 or so on mobo/cpu/ram together.?.

The RAM you have picked out is better and cheaper than the one I linked to, the motherboards are comparable, but that Pentium D is nothing next to the e4400.

If you can stretch it, keep everything you picked but substitute in the e4400. Especially if you're gaming, but even if you're not it's a handy little CPU. ;)

It's the same but mines $2 bucks cheaper. I'll have a look around around for a cheaper price. ;)

Oh yeah, these little e4300's are supposed to be less than $100.. Intel has announced the price change but the volatility of the market has kept them high. As such expect these chips to drop alot in the next couple weeks. Just food for thought

From reviews I've read that's a very nice case.. And it looks awesome too!

Only bummer is the price tag. :P

By august 24th the price of these chips should have dropped quite abit.
