Building comp, does this look good?

Ok so I've wanted to get a new computer for awhile, and have decided I'd go down the route of building my own. Because of this new task I want to post what I've got here so that if there is any compatibility issues someone can point them out to me, and also give me advice if they see something that could be improved.
Thanks, and here it is.

OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic
Case: CoolerMaster CM690 ATX Mid-Tower Case
Mobo: Asus P5N-D Motherboard - NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Processor BX80570E8400 (3.0ghz each)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Video Card - 512MB DDR3
Ram: Corsair XMS2 DHX 2048MB Dual Channel PC6400 DDR2 800MHz (2 X 1024)
PSU: CoolerMaster Real Power Pro 650-Watt Power Supply - SLI, SATA-Ready, 120mm Fan, Active PFC
Sound Card: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer PCI Sound Card
HD: Maxtor DiamondMax 21 500GB Hard Drive
CD Drive: LG GDR-H30N DVD-ROM Drive
Speakers: Logitech X-140 Computer Speakers (want to replace my current ones)

Think that's all, let me know if I missed anything. (Using old Mouse, keyboard, monitor)

Comes out to $1,531.72 CND (that's with shipping and tax included).

I wanted to get liquid cooling, but once I realized I forgot to add an OS, I had to sacrifice it to keep the overall price within what I want to spend. I wanted it so I could overclock a bunch of stuff, but oh well, I can get it later down the road.

What do you all think? Thanks for your time.

Oh right, forgot to say that it'll be a gaming computer. It's technically being made for Age of Conan, coming out in a month, but my comp is long...long over-due, and now that I'm older I have the funds, and knowledge to get a good computer :D. I've missed out on almost all of the great games in like the last 2 or 3 years that have been on the computer, the big recent ones being Bioshock, and Crysis. If I get around to ordering the parts this week, and they get here with time to spare before AoC's release date, I may pickup one of the games mentioned above to test it out :).

Your build is too good for vista basic. Get home premium for $20 more or stick with XP. Basic is XP with vista's problems, you're not getting any benefits, not even aero.

Yeah, I sort of had a feeling that I should go with premium, and I want vista mostly for DX10 ^_^. So thank's for the advice, I'll change that then.

Looks nice enjoy building it and have fun!!!! :D:D:D:):):):):)

Thanks, I've already enjoyed learning a lot about the different parts of a computer and how they work, and what to look for in them. I am excited to be able to put it together, I've always loved building things.

i have that case, and i am telling you dude, it is simply...orgasmic. i LUV It so much.

Yeah, as soon as I laid eyes on it, I think I feel in love ;). As well, I've heard many good thing's about it.

Meh.. I think it's an ugly case. Get an Antec 1200. :P

I also just ordered one of each of these:

http://www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=01565

Those are cases... :D
Meh, I love the look of it. Pretty simple, but still looks great. I also didn't want to spend too much on the actual case (never knew some were so expensive then when I looked it up the other day :O ). From what I've heard this case is a good deal.

Though those cases you linked are nice, I like the first one... Shiny! :D

Anyways, thanks everyone for posting and your help.

I'll try to order the parts later today, and when I get them I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Personally will get P35 chipset Motherboard instead of 750i and SATA DVD burner instead of DVD Rom, + Vista Premium

Looks good :)

but get premium...

and also, have you seen the Coolermaster Centurion 590? I believe its better than the CM 690, cause of teh on/off button position, and the fact that there is a 4 in 3 module that keeps your HDs cool. Its, i think a better design and cooling is relatively the same

OCZ GameXStream 700W, a hard drive OTHER than Maxtor... and then try getting the X-230 or X-530.
