Building Comp From Scratch

Could anyone tell me the best things to look for on a motherboard?

These are the parts that i have so far:
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego socket 939
2 * 1GB Kingston
320 GB SATA HDD
500W PSU

Or could anyone just refer a good motherboard to purchase for these parts.

i just bought an msi k8n neo4, but like you ,its not together yet, this board has pretty good reviews and good manual. no firewire , no sata2, i just wanted a fairly inexpensive board and for under a 100 bucks up here , its a good price.i`m trying to get an opteron 165 , there in short supply. it`ll be a couple weeks before i get it going...good luck to you
